I just looked at more pics of the premini versions, and as contrary to what I first thought, they are pretty cool, the music porter looks like a gameboy sp, which is cool. The prosolid is also quite sexy.

The naming of each handset reflects their respective design concepts. The "S" of "premini-S" indicates "Second", "Sports", Soft taste" and "Sophisticated". "prosolid" is derived from a combination of the words "professional" and "solid". "Music PORTER" is a combination of "Music+Porter", meaning to carry music, and "Lechiffon" is from "chiffon", the French word for soft pastry. The model numbers for the "premini-S", "prosolid", "Music PORTER" and "Lechiffon" are SO213iS, P213i, D253iWM and P253iS respectively.
Main features of the new handsets include a sloped keypad for ease of use ("premini-S"), a 16.7mm-thin aluminium and magnesium case ("prosolid"), and an internal FM radio tuner and music playback ("Music PORTER"). The artifical leather cover of the "Lechiffon", which cannot be removed, imparts a soft feel (apparently!).
Two of the handsets have in-built cameras - the "Music PORTER" (0.32 megapixel CCD) and the "Lechiffon" (0.31 megapixel CMOS). The only handset that accepts external memory is the "Music PORTER", which comes with a 64MB Memory Stick DUO. The communication speeds of the handsets are 9.6kbps up/down for the "premini-S" and 9.6kbps up/28.8kbps down for the remaining handsets.

The Prosolid is made by Panasonic, and is 14.9mm thin at its thinnest point. RAZR is 1cm thinner.
"Le Chiffon" is made by Panasonic as well.
"Music Porter" is made by Mitsubishi.
Only the Sonyericsson phone is called "Premini".
