I guess it's an SOP for these local networks to open the boxes, aside from checking the contents if its accessories' are complete I guess they are checking on the fone's 'initial' performance as well, as they are given a certain period of time for the warranty by the dealers . . .

No wrist strap with mine either, also from CPW.

They opened mine in front of me, cos they hadnt put the phones on display yet, so it looks like it doesnt sell with a wrist strap !

Thanks Astral1 and JN, I went back to the CPW today , and they explained that these boxes are not sealed, and also checked another box for the strap. Unfortunatley it doesnt seem like its included in the European Box's.

Where is your S700 made? I heard that S700s made in china come with straps. Mine was made in Japan and didnt have one.
