@mwarner, i do hope your right otherwise it would be useless to upgrade the fone..does se actually announce if a new fw is available? ..tnx:-D

maybee it comes out later today..
I still cant update via my jobb place.. so i have to do it tonight at home
BUT its also the newest firmware for K500i. K500i and K700i has the same firmware on the phones

so my branded-unbranded k700i came back from authorized SE service center with R2L... they couldn't get R2AA and finally I can do the online update, but still get R2L...

a bit off topic but I have to say it... I had problems with my K700 being unbranded but belonging to operator in Croatia so I couldn't use Online update. I bought my phone at official SE store in Zagreb so I was really pissed... I asked service cnter to unbrand my supposed to be my branded phone... so they did it but in a way that now when I do a master reset I have by default new data accounts that belong to OSKAR (it is Checz or Slovakia or Poland network isn't it?)... but I must not complain as I can use online update now, right?
and it is funny how total call time in service menu is back to 00:00:00... if only I could understan all of this... oh yeah and I got My friends icon... yeah...

@SIR-Sony, too bad those call center guys are just misinformed or just plain stupid.. I'll try again tonight if it installs the latest fw it would be my 4th time to do the online update even though I already got r2l after the 1st try..
BTW, is there an article/news link you can point me to bout the release of raa fw? TIA
