> S700 worth it over P910? (PH)

if p910 is a smart phone, isn't it possible that a third party can perhaps make a software to make the p910's camera shoot over 1 megapixel?

megapixel capabilities are a hardware issue, not a software one

I upgraded from a P900 to an S700 and I am much happier with it. My mom has a P910 and it isn't that much different from the P900. The screen and camera are just so much better and the FM radio is another plus. The basic organizer features of the S700 are fine with me and I have a PDA for other things such as playing videos and surfing the web.

I don't think there is anything more to the P800/P900/P910 than just the "porma" appeal. It feels good to whip out that stylus just to enter somebody's # or write a note or something. If you have or had a PDA, like I did, you might choose the S700i over the SE P-series.

@dinky - Though I am not certain if you already got yourself a P900 or P910 here dude, but better still, go for the SE S700, unless you are into PDA's pal

! The current price of the S700 is pegged at Php 35K (brand new) in the Alabang area.

S700 just got a 1.3 megapixel cam... better go for P910 except if you really want a good camera... speaking of good camera... try Samsung's SCH-S250 - a camera phone with 5 megapixel of resolution!

go for the p910, the only advantage of s700 over p910 is the camera... aside from that, wala na, mas advantageous ang p910... its memory is even expandable up to 1g....

@netbreaker, Samsung SCH-S250 doesn't work on GSM.

megapixel camera lang naman ang pagkakaiba:)
there's a lot more to that than meets the eye.
i've read the P910 white paper (page 16) and there are a number of stuff that are different from P900. like in-the-box document/spreadsheet editors (although meron na QuickOffice even during the P800 days pa) for example.

unless there's a third party app, like those for Series 60 phones that interpolate a megapixel shot.

Software interpolation apps still sucks in terms of quality, kahit kelan pa, IMO.
For me... its either camera or pda functions for the two units, pareho namang maporma eh!
