Because the v3 is ALL about design and not capability.
Kind of like Mokia

Well to be honest guys i really like the phone's looks,
I have a digital cam, am thinking about a pda and i have both an mp3 player and a MiniDisc
So i don't really think that memory will be that bid deal although i personally would think it’s completely idiotic to have anything less than 32MB on any phone

I have to agree. The V3 specs are generally similar to the K700 except for much less memory... but... its all about style! and boy does that phone have style

I've been having an argument with a colleague just this week about functionality over design and I'll take functionality every day (even better if it looks good too!)

How times and expectations have changed!!!!
Only a few years ago it was revolutionary that we could send 'text messages'!!!!!!

I agree though that in this time 5MB is not enough

Based only on some pictures the keypad illumination is stunning. Elegancy never seen before on any phone.

The design is so beautiful that in fact it does not really matter what's inside as long as it works.

Thumbs up for Motorola. I hope this phone has awakened SE.

The nice boxing sends a clear message: that Motorola is proud of the product and wants you to be too. Hello SonyEo?

I was offered the V3 for 150 on an upgrade, must say im very tempted although its a lot of money. But then I paid well over that for my T610 sim free not too long ago.
Oh why does it have to look so good, ive never even considered a moto before!
