Just picked my S700 up at the store (GSM-Senteret in Oslo).

First impression: WOW!!!
I was reluctant to get it concidering the fact that I didn't really need it having the K700 and P910 (and a coupple of others ) but guys; Its worth the money!

I'm a happy bunny!!!

This would appear to be the best place to pick the brains of s700 owners who may be willing to share their experience/findings with us other, less fortunate individuals - so...

*Has anyone had a decent bash at trying any java games/apps utilising the new java 2.0 support and 3d graphics acceleration we have been told it has? Obviously the bundled games are great but what about putting other games/apps on the phone - is this problematic (ie many games/apps will not run)? and does ANYTHING play full screen?

*How about viewing video clips that have been put on the phone? (obviously there is no full screen here) Does it handle many file types or are certain types inherently problematic? (i heard about people having probs playing p900 clips on the s700 with no sound etc), and do people find the lack of full screen to put them off using this function or is it easily ignored?

sorry for ther long post but seems the best place to ask..

Cheers!

Got mine last week and dropped it on the first day but these things happen and to be honest I haven't really looked at it in depth as I've been on holiday but my first impression was that I should have got the P910. My opinion might change once I read the instructions LOL. Upside is the screen, size, camera. Downside is no pro support, very crappy size video playback and when dropped from a height it damages easily LOL!!!

Got mine a little over 2 1/2 weeks ago from Mphone. The only games I've uploaded are the origonal Tetris and Bust a Move and both work really well. Video playback is the same as the K700 (but without the wobbling) and I find it smoother than my P900 with the screen being smaller.

Only found out today that in camera mode the volume buttons can ajust the brightness of a pic.

Heres one I took of a lamp in my front room 10 mins ago while messing with the brightness:-

A pic I took last night with just the phone light on:-
