That looks soo good. Only disadvantage is:

Enhanced customization possibilities
Customization of phone software is important for both Phone manufacturers and Network operators;

We really don't want network operators to have it easy "customizing" 'meaning branding' their phones and screw things up for us.

The whole advantage of Softkeys is they can perform any function, including yes/no, delete, play, pause etc etc, simply by displaying it on the screen rather than just having yes/no on the butttons

Who knows but the fact that this has been announced is a great step. Perhaps even in the next release of SE phones!

Almost certainly won't be possible. As already said nobody can even put UIQ 2.1 on a P800.
And I don't expect it to be possible on P9x0 either
