Lets hope that when wap2.0 is released there, all wappers would be so much in love with SE that they wont ever go back to Nokia!

well i don't know much about WAP but i'm pretty sure that WAP 2.0 is backwards compatible.
Also, why would a NETWORK not support a certain wap protocol? Isn't it just data? Isn't it like saying that your network allows you to download text and not pictures?
maybe with WAP knowledge could clarify?

Kim you are right. If you look at a wml page in notepad or something you will see an address at the top linking to a dtd file. This file contains info on how the page should be structured. This file is different for wap1.2.1 and wap2.0. So its very little you have to change for a phone to support wap2.0 or 1.2.1 :-) .....and....wap 2.0 always supports wap 1.0 and 1.2.1

Plz do some rechearch before saying things u dont understand! Call the sonyericsson service and tell them my story, u'll see what they will tell u. Wap 2.0 is different from 1.2.1 and new nokias cant have wap on 1.2.1 networks. And i dont know why our networks doesnt support wap 2.0. PLZ ASK SOME PROS AND ULL SEE THAT IM RIGHT!
