@Domi, I wish they produced all the phones there!! At least we would have some design from which actually choose! I love the idea of so many different designs, even though I wouldn't buy many of those, I still think that's the way to look at mobile phones.
Look at the S700 and compare it to some of the models listed on that site. The difference is clear...
Back to topic. I also would prefer a phone without Microsoft based OS, but on the other hand I would love for it to run office... So I guess I will wait for some MacOS based phone to come out...
Seriously, I think a smart phone that cannot edit Excel, Word or PowerPoint is harder to sell that one that can...
I personally don't like the proposed design too much, and it has nothing to do with it being taken from Nokia (just to make things clear). The proportions don't seem to fit. Looks to me as being too long and I wonder how one would protect that big screen...
Is it a touchscreen?

First up, I think it's spelled Ciao... anyway, the day Windoze becomes the standard OS on mobile phones... is the day I go back to 2 cans a a string. Much more reliable.
I'm happy with Symbian... I'm VERY happy with the UIQ division. I can't wait to see UIQ 3 on phones.
Series 60 is all right I guess for the average person. It's still a much better OS than anything MS could come up with.

Gotive already has a similar formfactor and similar OS( Windows CE.Net 4.2 ) phone.
4800 mAh Battery!!!.
Quite large at : 9.1 x 3.7 x 1.3 in.
Wifi,Bluetooth etc.
CF Slot, MMC & SD.
1/2 VGA screen (640x240)
GPS!!!!!
Waterproof and Ruggedised (etc.)
I've just ordered it from Peripheral Corner! It doesnt have the new curved (and irregular ) Nokia Design, but for the price i'm getting it at, its a suitable replacement for my i-mate PE. Peripheral corner dont charge you for 1 month in case you're not satified, then they charge you.
Here is Gotive G41 Communicator
PS. 100 posts!!

@jplacson
UIQ3 is currently being developed by Symbian. Who owns about half of Symbian? Give u a hint - starts with "N".
UIQ3 will compete with Series60. So why is there no news on UIQ3? Maybe u can put 1 and 1 together and deduce something.
Another thing. Will UIQ (used in P9** smartphone) which is owned by Symbian still be around in the future??
