are u referring to what i think you're referring to?
btw... world politics are really complicated, so i beg to differ on your statement that russia and japan are against the united states. the fact that japan has been a staunch american ally post world war II cannot be debated. it is only during gulf war II that there has been some dissent shown towards america. and i do also believe that japan has sent some navy vessel to iraq, to help america.

lots of topics popped up today about why people hate Americans. Personally I don't want to get involved in this other than to say that it annoys me to no end to see this message board that I have grown to love start to pick apart its members and cast blanket stereotypes.
I think we have proven that most of us get along and think alike on many topics. With that in mind, leave the politics and nationalism to the government and just talk about fun stuff here.
I don't want to be any more offended than I already am, and I don't want to start thinking poorly of members I respected.

there is a HUUUUUUUGGE difference between what the world thinks of american citizens and american polity.
the world likes american citizens... yeah they're a little slow brained, but who isn't? nice people to chat with, to go out and have a great time!!
american polity on the other hand has been hated for some time now, and i doubt if overnight policy changes can help turn that around. it does take time, but i'm sure will happen eventually.
