but i do clean it from time to time with a tinny brush. you should do that 2 guys

You have to onlu worry about this if you use mis-use the phone. But normal use will cause some deterioration in response.

However, if you treat your phone like your car and service it at decent intervals, then you should have no problem.

The torture the individual parts go through before release ensure that each external useable component is good for @ least 5yrs.

Mine, you can no longer press the jogdial towards you. Many people in this forum are complaining about the towards-push part but I never used towards anyway because its uncomfortable, but the rest works like a charm and is really useful.
I think it was just a fault.
