I guess many were able to see the one which was made by mobile review.com, when they assumed that, yes, it may look really possible to have a memory card slot on the square metal space found near the battery slot (back) . . .

As someone mentioned, if it can't have memory slot in phone, it would be great to have an external memory slot (I think it would be size of an external t300 camera), and if you need memory, just swich it in, and when you don't need it, swich it out, or you could have it swiched in all time long.

Even if it was possible, the cost and effort to do it wouldn't be worth it. It would also mean a new firmware which will eventually introduce new bugs and new wierd Topics in this forum.

What is the use of this memorystick for everybody anyway? It's not as if you are all going to store hundreds of applications.
SE is not going to release a K700 with memoryslot, you all. Have you all filled up your phone memory to capacity? With what?

I have filled mine with mp3s, videos, games, and pics, but I'm not complaining.

Me, then, stored:
1. Images of some of the members of esato.
2. Videos - almost all sort of.
3. Images - tons of my friends/relatives and celebs.
4. MP3 songs - 70's/80's/90's/00's
5. Daily skeds
*If you are into vids and pics (heavy one) . . . the 41 MB memory will surely not suffice!

Normaly i have my k700 with 20mb of mp4 80kbs songs (8-10 songs normaly), and the rest with games, themes, ringtones, some photos of contacts and other images, and some free space for photos/videos
Its perfectly enough for everyday use
