Totally agree to you sapporobaby.
But if I take the P800 manual as the last word, it also says that P800 cant record videos.
But with Phillips cam coder we can record videos too.
So i feel with evolving technologies, it will be foolish to not ask such a stupid question like i did.
Who knows tomorrow we might have players for P800 which plays rm files too...

Dude, you are splitting hairs here.
the manual is correct. The p800 can not record videos, however, with the help of a third party application it can. It is the software that is the key. Not the P800. So, if you get an application that supports the P800 and Real, then the P800 can support RM files.
By the way. Real is terrible.

@ sapporobaby sorry but i think your wrong here, whats wrong if karan_hyd does asks us if the se p800 does play rm files or not, and its not obviouse because there are alot of companies out there who makes 3rd party applications for the se pxxx series, so obviously the guy only asked if there is a application you can install to watch rm files, just like there is other 3rd party application which can make you do other things with your p800 series, just because sony ericsson has not introduced it doesnt mean no else out there can make it for the p800 series, just how they made the recording software for the p800. so think before you chat stupid lol

Hey guys lets not fight over something, which is not avilable right now. It's a discussion forum so thanks to you all for your precious comments. I dont know if RM is good or not. But i have got many movies and video clips in RM format so asked the question. Though as i said earlier currently i am converting RM to AVI and then to MP4 format which can be viewed on P800. Cheers...
