I played with the S700 day before yesterday and (a bit to my surprise) it didnīt trigger any 'must buy' impulses with me..
Mind you, it was very nice and all, but too damn expensive considering it cost as much as a Nikon Coolpix (that beats the living daylights out of ANY phonecam) and a K700 SIM free.!! I mean, come on, itīs not like i am economically independent!
I just didnīt find it THAT breathtaking, at least not enough to justify the price.

It triggered my "Buy NOW" impulse by just seeing a picture on a website!

..had it for 2 days and played with it for 49 hours, and it is STILL the best phone I've ever had.. Funny the way it seems smaller & smaller for every day that goes by..

OK, Ok, OK . . . I eagerly awaited for the commercial to appear (again) in the MTV Asia show last night - good thing that Sony Ericsson sponsors the show (partly) . . . So, this is what I saw. The first part was with this pretty girl wearing a white dress riding a swing, she goes for the show for quite sometime, then came the fone being featured with it's swivelling thing and made major emphasis on it's 1.3 megapixel cam! Then . . . end of the ad. The whole scene ran for about 10-15 seconds, much shorter compared with those of the K700i's and T610's tv ads!

Looks like I am the only one here who have seen the SE S700i's commercial in it's entirety . . .

@JN - yup, i've seen it a couple of times...it does seem low-budget and is very short compared to the previous two. the k700i had two ads, one with the 'do anyhting' and the other 'phone meets camera'. maybe would release another s700i commercial....maybe

Yup! I hope so mate . . . a 2nd run will definitely increase its sales I guess . . . as the one with the girl on the swing really looks - dull !
