well, i tried to do it today (vodafone branding). just bought a T28 cable as they say. but when i push the ON button it connects and then it says "Baudrate might be too high"

see a screenpicture at: http://schober.ownspace.de/multiserverproblem.jpg

it tried it with "dtr rts" enabled and without.

but its always the same.

any ideas?

Did you bought a "Data Cable" or a "Service Cable" for T28? Only the service cable can do this.

Have you tried lowering the speed from 115200 to less?

So what did Face Off Mobiles say, I remember posting posting in a previous thread that these guys take ages to reply and they argued with me left right and center that I was lying.. Dont say I havent warned you all.

They just said to update the TotalMultiServer client software... typical...

I just forgot the subject. Maybe i'll give it a try again soon.

Faceoffmobiles supplied me with a T28 data cable instead of a T28 service cable when i was debranding my K700i. Realised what they had done and sent the correct cable....

I had hours of endless trying though, am going to do my s700i now if someone can confirm that it definatly does work (vodafone branded)

Total Bump!

How long should this process take?

Does it start downloading straight away?

I am using a DSS20, installed with the DSS20 drivers and it doesn't seem to want to start downloading the software.

Anyone?
