About the fore-runners, Yes, I believe they were humans, and that that will hold the secret "key" at the end of Halo 2. Basically, we are going to discover fore-runner remains on Earth and learn to control an ultra-powerful weapon that we had previously designed and built, but since forgotten when we used the Halos to wipe out all knowledge in the galaxy in an effort to once again hide the power to destroy everything.
Oh and just in case, that is my opinion, not for sure. So if any of it actually happens... What can I say? Great minds think alike

Yes, you‘re right about the plasma rifle, i just find that when fighting Sentinels i am often also fighting flood, which the plasma rifle has little effect on... Well, only 10 days till halo 2... i have no money right now so i better start saving...

Back to HALO, what kind of weapon is HALO really? I've read some where on the net that it has a range of 25,000 lightyears, but what does it actually do? Does it fire some kind of pulse or something?
