As i said you need to enable the HID service for your phone or it wont work , it's on the same menu where you enable virtual com ports and dial up networking

Note : you need sp2 for full bluetooth support , the 3rd party drivers are usually dodgy like the belkin ones.

You dont need SP2 for full support! I have used remote control via BT since summer between my pc and k700, works just fine on SP1.

I use remote with winamp, thats very nice. There are remote profiles for different applications, like winamp, to download to your phone!

I dont think any additional sw is required because i have itunes and winamp player remote control files on my k700i and works fine

Actually, SP2 broke my BT and I had to reinstall. Belkin stuff may (as you say, I have no idea) be shoddy, but I've never had problems with MSI drivers.

I didn't load all of the software when loading my B/T adapter, I basically loaded the file transfer stuff only, (thinking I wouldn't need the other stuff) . Probably a very good chance why my remote isn't working.....I will rectify this when I get 5 mins....

I haven't had any problems with my 'Belkin Dongle' and can report that both it and it's software are performing great !

@lost_ickle_hippy

i thought i should download the XP SP2, coz i didn't find the control panel menu like the one u show in the picture, i try to explore my bluetooth service and it doesn't have 'driver for keyboard, mice, etc (HID)'. But the size of service pack so huge (280mb!!) feel tired to download it.

Mmmm if your on 56k that can be a problem . I've had issues with installing the service pack over an existing installation , all of these were solved by getting hold of a cd image with sp2 intergrated and doing a fresh install.
