Most S700i's in this topic seem to be okay, could be something the user may have installed previously?

no, my phone is vodkafone branded, no extra software. both times it rebooted i was in the middle of a call using my Bluetooth headset and the phone sitting on the car seat next to me. no user error involved, unless i inadvertently said some “key” word that causes the phone to reboot. lol

@PeterKay
The only 'human error' I can think of is that the chap might have bene trying to do too much at once, but he did say that he only clicked 'exit. I suppose it could be something else the chap installed, but I think I would still bet on it being a firmware issue.

I suppose the obvious advice is for the chap to upgrade his firmware.

Although, if the chap has already updated his firmware then that could be the problem.
