U can test on keypad, joy quality and check total time, compare it with the date on label and u can guess if it shows the right total time or not.

the settings timer can be reset.... you have tpo flash the whole phone with a new software... also shorting the phones intenal battery... any one of the above method works.......

I'm not so sure bout it cause my phone is flashed twice.
all the data was deleted from it but lifetime timer wasn't reset.
