battery life is about 5 days (day and night) with making some calls, use the cam sometime and some games.
However the first days when u bought it it will drain a bit much.

Did you buy it from a o2 store ? If so is it unlocked as i bought a z600 on pay as you talk from o2 and it is unlocked and only slightly branded (o2 theame, startup screen and o2 link on desk top). This message was posted from a Z600

- just thought i want everybody to remember me because not many ppl i have seen have this avatar.

the phone is amazing. i have sorted out the camera problem, make sure you open the shutter BEFORE opening camera application. what was happening was i was forgetting, openeing camera app and finding the viewfinder black, and then opened the shutter. this meant that the camera sort of adjusted to the dark, and then the sudden exposure to light made the pic all gritty, well thats whats happened for me, and it has to be that. also, go to the service menu and test everything out. it took about 2 tests to get the vibrator working properly.

one thing that amazes me is the feel. it doesnt look to attractive, but it is THE NICEST phone to ever hold. the k700i is far to square. it is soooo nice - and i am saying this truth fully. i borowed my friends k700 for a week. great phone, but an extra 50 pounds, and i am not all that rich

. it also has queiter speaker and not shutter, which is what i needed. The k500i is beautifully crafted. it looked weird in pics, but honestly, hold it, and its mint.

it also is extrememly high quality. the screen is very bright, and the build does not squeak once. The on button is nice and firm, and the smoothness of the plastic is very reassuring. but the best thing has to be the fact that

have put a lot into this phone multimedia wise. The musicdj is great, the camera quality is great - if you do it right, and the 3d gaming does not jigger or jagger. The sound can also be balanced, using an equaliser, and the sound quality is crisp. When on the phone, there is no muffle or phsss noise, it is perfect. no fm radio though, thats the only bummer. but also, the menu animations are truly magnificent. a very up to date and stylish phone, it is also the second latest

phone, and for 149.99 it is truly worth it.

if you have no need for bt, radio, and lots of memory, then go for this phone. brilliant. and i have just bought the snowboarding game and it is amazing! the controversial yellow backlight for the keys is also neat.

to me, it looks beatiful. and this is coming from someone who estimated the phone as looking horrible and being crap. comfy to hold, it is my baby! i promise you, that if, as above, you want something a little less than the k700i that does the job just as well, and if focused on giving you the wow factor instantly, then this is the phone for you. the video quality is surprisingly good. for an 85 gram phone, at 149.99, and a camera lens size the size of about have a cm, it is great! quite smooth.

but as i say, the k500i excels all other sony ericsson phones when it comes to powerful animations and gaming. it has active wallpapers, that do not jagger, and are constantly smooth.

go for this phone dudes!
