Se warranty is international, there must be a way to fix it!
SE warranty is "international" only if the phone is bought in EU, which carries an EU-wide warranty. It's clearly spelled out in the warranty card. However the enforcement of this term is not universal. So in western Europe, you can get your non-EU phone fixed for free with no question asked. In Asia, there is definitely no international warranty.
So it is still worth trying to contact the SE service centre in Argentina, but don't expect warranty service to be automatic, or as comprehensive.

@iJIM, warranty must work, I bought my phone on Perú and they serviced on Argentina once, the only thing they ask is to have an account with a carrier in argentina.

yes, its under warrany, but the BiG problem is... i bought the phone some days ago in Chile, and I live in Argentina... i need to made 400 kilometers to ask to the seller about the warranty.
@ijim - I sympathize with you here mate . . . same scenario with me when I bought a quite expensive videocam in Hong Kong back then, knowing that it has a slight defect, and I just have to bring it to the service shop - me paying for the damage

! The lesson I've learned then is JUST to buy gadgets in my turf. I really might have SAVED some dineros buying it cheap abroad, but evaluating the expenses it incurred me when had it repaired, it all summed up MORE than what I bargained for

Also, why did you not have it tested during the time you bought the fone in Chile mate? As an SOP in buying, the dealer should have made some thorough DEMO of that fone right infront of you, CHARGING of the fone - included . . .

Nope... the service centre want to charge me for the service???
you can belive it? The technic person says: "the warranty is valid in Chile, not in Argentina, i must to charge for a service here".... only for check the phone, not for a fix.
I sent a message to SE worldwide customer service, telling this situation, i waiting for a response and another solution to my problem.

. . . sometimes, lapses in memory judgement on how to skin a fone resulting to discrepancies lies in the hands of the buyer too

! As there are just too many 'oppurtunist-vultures-sellers' out there whose ONLY main purpose in LIFE is just to earn money and not looking AFTER the welfare/satisfaction of it's buyers . . .

for JN:
I know, I know, but... I only are looking for a solution. I think a big company like SE, must give solutions to their clients in any place with phones buyed in any place.
