u have mentioned that the screen is too bright on your fone! And that you want to change how light it is!

I know this may sound rather stupid but have you however tried changing the contrast on the phone in the settings??? U can also change some of the contrast in the menu >*

It is not the constrast!!!!!!!!

It is a hardware problem......I used to have this problem 2 months ago..... I thought that my phone was ok........but..... when I compared my T68m R1B with my friends T68m R1B I realised that mine was more yellow..... So I went to Ericsson and changed it......
Now my phone is as bright as the T68i in the picture.....

The only way to make Ericsson change the phones is to take with you both a good one and a bad one.....since by first sight the phone looks ok.....and Ericsson will not compare it with an other one.....or maybe the one they have is yellow too......

There is no way you can fix this problem...... The only way is to change it with a new...... the new one is going to be 70% yellow again......It is very hard to find a white one....

Finally I have a friend of mine who has T68i and his LCD is yellow......

By changing the contrast you do nothing..... you just make it brighter yellow

as mathmos says and like i said a few posts back....again for you slow cats:

theres always been slight differences in screen whiteness since before the T68i, now it's available the screens appear to be exaclty the same with some being whiter than others....it's not dependant on model but people will believe anything.

yes it is the contrast not the LCD...the standard setting or the company's setting for the T68i is higher than T68m. so even if you upgraded your M to I, the the default contrast of M will remain.
