O2 seem to be waiting to see how Voda and Orange fare before launching their own services. I read an article about a month ago, saying that they had no plans to launch pre-Christmas, but would not rule it out (presumably, if it takes off as Voda would like, they're leaving themselves a way in to take advantage of the upside!). I personally wouldn't think we'll see anything in the way of 3G handsets from O2 until early next year, but they've already got a 3G datacard up and running, so the network is presumably ready to go.

Just a matter of timing...

@meths

I would agree with you regarding LG's 3G handsets; they certainly the best available at the moment on 3. Vodafone's range looks very good though, so hopefully the other networks will follow suit. Unfortunately Orange's line up doesn't seem all that appealing in my opinion, but hopefully O2 and T-Mobile will offer better fare.

I agree there. I wish Orange would bring out an exclusive SE 3G candybar handset with swivel cam and 4mp camera. About 95 grams and titanium cased, mp3 and radio should do it. :-D. This message was posted from a T610
