@manunitedfan:

How do you know it's ass flab? It could be this person works out and has buns of steel and is pressing buttons with their muscular derriere. If they had a fat bum, the fat would simply flop round the phone, but not press any buttons. An enhanced gluteus maximus would stand more chance of taking the phone online by mistake. Get your facts straight you filthy stinky piece of rectal hair!!!

Ahem, sorry about that folks, back to the matter in hand. Check your settings, make sure it isn't auto-connecting or something after you've disconnected. I'm not sure if the p9 has this option (I get one tomorrow! ). Or, do you have your phone set up for email? Make sure the check interval hasn't been activated, where the phone will automatically connect to the GPRS at a set time to check for any emails. This could be quite expensive! Or, as JCwhite suggests, it could be O2's billing problems again.

Manunitedfan could have a kind of a point, made in rather an odd way - could you be hitting the 'online' button my mistake whilst it's in your pocket? I don't mean via flab, muscles or anything like that, I mean perhaps if you keep the phone in your jeans pocket and bend down to pick something up and it hits the button or something.
