Are you sure you have a BT or cable connection between pc and phone?
I installed the bundled SE software which contains a "file manager" which appears to be some explorer-extra that shows 'My Phones' in the root of the explorer. Then you can click open and see what the phone makes available of its memory.
To load a game into the phone drag the *jar file to the top level of the phone, not in one of the directories, the phone will receive the file, recognise it as a java-game and 'install' it.
The same goes for all other files, if you drag-drop them on the phone-icon, phone recognises and puts in right folder.
FMA looks better and has some nifty features but not all does work with the k700, so you'll need the SE software anyway for some tasks.

I definately have the BT connection which plugs into the usb and sends via bluetooth to the phone no cable connection. When i try to do the above the .jar files just go into the OTHERS folder !!
Will try to place them into the root and see if it automatically relocates to the games folder !!
cheers will keep you informed

There's a chance the .jar file is corrupted or it isn't really a .jar file. Otherwise, I suspect 2 possibilities.
1. Your PC is set to hide extensions and what you see is the filename with a .jar in it. - Try to set you PC folder options to view the extensions and make sure that they are indeed .jar files.
2. The file that was originally downloaded is .zip and the extension was simply changed to .jar -- Turn it back to .zip and unzip it in your PC before uploading it to your phone.
These are just possibilities that you might have missed. Let us know how it goes as I never had any problems uploading games to my K700i.

Hi - I'd be interested if you were ever able to use Bluetooth to transfer your jars from your PC to your K700. And, if so, what you did to get it working. I'm trying to do the same thing. Thanks!

just send the game once downloaded without unzipping it, but as a whole file straight into the phones memory, not the (other) file. without using win-rar or anything. just simply click and drag the whole file straight to phones memory - the k700i will automatically put it into the games folder!
