and whats wrong with sony? ericsson cant do shit. they can make mobiles, but they cant design them, advertise them or package them nice.
some ericsson phones are lush - t68, t39 but others are not so. and they were not advertised well enough. but
is a mixture of both qualitys, and eliminating both weaknesses. Sony are brilliant designers, ericsson are brilliant engineers.
a great company!

this is something that has been discused many times before. some old ericsson fans and old sony fans want more of there old brand in SE. but SE is going there own way. the only thing we can do i wait and see what happens.
i think people know boba's and my point of vieuw on SE

Having owned both Sony and Ericsson mobiles I am pleased with the union. The idea seemed strange at the time but I agree with Vanquish. It has been a successful alliance and they have only just started. The V800 looks excellent and lets hope there are more like it in the pipeline.

yes, i agree. the s700 (although priced too high), t610, k700i and v800 mobiles have really helped se. With the s710a winning an award, the v800 being amazing, the t610 winning multiple awards and the k700i being just fully featured and extremely good looking - i feel
are moving forward aswell.

S700 isn't selling much, nore is the Z1010. V800 not helping that much aswell. if they estimate to sell 100 000 units/Q
while the P910i is set at 250 000/Q
sure most of there phones have nice features.
but to make profit and have more marketshare (so they are appriciated abit more) they need phones that sell much better.
the T610 was a big hit, T230 is also one of there best ones.
Z200 and K500 are turning out to be a bad gues
Z600 and T630 are normal sales.
bluetooth headset sales has droped aswell. because of cheap hbh-65/600 series, and many people already have one (still i'm upgrading to hbh-660 soon)

Also, SE's handsets are generally more expensive than other makes and so you would generally expect them not to sell as many, the way you wouldn't expect a Jaguar car to outsell a Ford.
I would rather own a handset that was award-winning rather than one that was popular because it was CHEAP.
I am expecting some amazing handsets from SE in the near future. They have the advantage of being able to compete in South Korea and Japan where the technology is well advanced.

but i think it will be beaten in the future by the E700
and nokia had there 3310 that phone sold in massive number, that phone is the best sold phone ever. sure it had the most problems aswell

@bart, are you sure these are exact and accurate facts? just because you sell loads doesnt mean you are the best. i mean, sony have brilliant electronics, but they are expensive. because of this they do not sell as much, but it doesnt mean they are crap. if
was doing bad, they would be bust, and they aint. they are partners with the leading electronics company in the world! sony will not go bust, so neither will ericsson!

i really dont get this - do u know about the profit increase sony ericsson has achieved in Q3?
