Good point Scotty. I had the P900 and currently have a s700 and k700. I use the s700 as my primary phone and the k700 as a backup with another coutries sim card in it. I get around to charging the k700 every three or four days. Other than that I hardly touch it. I decided that if I want a music player that I would purchase an iPod (iPhot by the way), second, I have a Sony P-10 for photos. I tend to use my s700 for its core intended purpose. Telephony. People who scream, moan, and whine about not having enough memory or a poor camera are being unrealistic and downright complainers. It is a phone first, and whatever second.

to help you usong:
Step 1: Choose: CONNECTIVITY or IMAGING.
P910 - connectivity S700: imaging
Although, p910 has better connectivity simply because it is a PDA in a camera phone, S700 imaging (megapixel cam) is far superioir than the earlier. Nonetheless, P910 can capture satisfactory images (VGA cam).
S700, in terms of connectivity MIGHT fail you because for one, i think it's does not run in SYMBIAN OS. I think the OS is SE provided - no third party. P910 undoubtedly exceeds S700 in this aspect.
Step 2: Now think. It is almost of the same price.
Step 3: Weigh between the two phones excelling in two different things yet can provide for both anyway (in different levels).
I'd suggest P910, but sometimes, imaging matters too.

@sapporobaby
I agree, extra features are nice, but we should remember that mobile phones (at least those available in Europe) are not yet designed to replace other dedicated products e.g. music/video players.
@all
I think the general consensus seems to be that in choosing, which mobile to buy, one should pick the device most relevant to one's needs.

@ Raab
When I say this is "recycled SE technology" I was referring to the fact that I just bought a black SE S700i that is almost a clone of the SE SO505iS phone I purchased back in December of 2003. They both have a 1.3MP camera, expanded flash memory support, video player, etc.. The casing almost look similar. SE simply re-dressed the phone a year later and marketed to in a different region of the world for double the price tag at which it sold it only a year prior.

@BigFeat
If it sells well then it seems to a dashed smart strategy to me!

I totally agree. It's a market genious on SE's part. They figure some bloks wouldn't know any better so why not dress up that old phone and resell it for 4 times the price somewhere else this time around.

First of all, thanks for all the replies.
Have just asked the question bec someone wanted to trade his 1 week old S700i with my P900 + 30 pounds.
I really like the radio and nice cam of the S700i. But i also like the large screen and video play back capability of the P900 though seldomly use the PDA functions.
I'm really confuse...hehehe
How abt the stability of S700i?
Thanks again.

Hmmm.. For the price that a S700x is going for now why doesn't your m8 simply return it or simply exchange it for a P900 being that they are relatively cheaper now? I don't see why a 1 week old phone is not exchangeable or returnable unless the original purchase wasn't Kosher. Sounds like you're getting duped..

Albeit, the S700x is pretty stable in my opinion. It does typical toy phone stuff so don't expect it to have big problems.
