@vanquish..for your information,I've owned a k7 since day 1,and i'm telling it like it is.imo,the phone looks terrible when the sticker is absent,i also disliked the way the connector cover MISHAPED.i'm also in a position to say that the joystick isn't particularly good quality also...as myself and at least 15 people i'm aware of,suffered the DREADED LAZY JOYSTICK problem.that's my 2penneth worth anyway! exactly same as my bro's Nokia 7210
the phone have to connected to the ear piece to get the FM work
this is the disadvantage ,so hope SE could improve this weakness
it must be very cool and hidden the wire if the FM could worked with BT ear piece

now i realised this k700i can't play any windows format type of video file,it's totally diffrent frm the previous Nokia7650 that i used to own.
seem like i have to think a way to convert those file into that format (.3gp format) as you've mentioned above..
just wondering if there's any software which can do this convertion. ??

thanks for your feedback
if that's the case..
so hope SE could invent kind of "BT mouse"
which we can control the cursor motion to navigate the screen menus
while we docked the phone on a desktop stand /charger
and more amazing if with this desktop stand (perhaps i should call it as docking station ,just like the one we use in laptop) could link the display to CRT monitor/LCD screen
it must be so comfortable we control the BT mouse ,while viewing on the screen
just like using a PC

wht u guy think abt this idea ??
perhaps we can purpose to SE ?

hey, I own a k700i. The design is flawless.. i have no idea what the hell you are talking about. Theres only 2 things that are annoying on the phone.

#1 Damn mp3 player keeps wanting to go into random mode. (it may just be a firmware issue.. maybe in a later version it will be OFF by default)

#2 Battery life is a little short, not bad.. but its not great (i expect to buy the 1100mAh li-polymer batt to make it all good)

Oh man of "great luck", I'm a K700 user too and IMO it's not perfect but it's the most well-balanced phone in terms of price, features and design. Yes it has its flaws but its features and functionality pretty easily makes those flaws insignificant.

I would suggest you search in this forum for topics involving K700i. There has been a lot of discussions already about it that I think you should know about.
