of course Z1010 themes work, they are almost identical, V800 themes just have a few 'extras'

wow you just ruined a perfectly good phone all by yourself and vodafone are actually gonna give you a new one (=paying for your screw up)
It sounds all wrong to me

@Vlammetje What sounds wrong to you sounds right to me. Anyway why does it bother you so much? Do you have shares in Vodafone? I guess your attituted would have been different had it worked...

It was never going to work really due to hardware differences like the screen and camera.
Also IF it had worked you would lose the ability to use Duo P ro as Z1010 can't

then why did you buy the v800?
i mean if you don't need a 1.3 mp camera, a 262k screen, pro support
heck you even want z1010 fw which isn't the best (at least not compared to k700 and s700)
buy yourself a z1010!

For your info I have a Z1010 and I am quite happy with it..I just bought the V800 because its winter and I like my phones to match what I wear... Plus you missed the most important factors of 3g phones video calling (I dont remember posting that I didnt want that feature) I have separates to do all these things for me and I will stick with my 5Mp digi cam and my 620Mhz Fujitsu Siemens LOOX 720 (P.s that has a 1Mp camera at the back)..and all the other seperates in my life..

Just what I was going to say!
Might as well have just bought a Z1010 BUT they're not available in the UK
