I don't actually believe anyone calls their gadget a name. The only name I call my computer is "Useless piece of f*cking crap" that's just before I kick it, when it acts up....

I don't see a point in naming gadgets. I call my DV-cam Sony PC-120, my mobile T68m.. I mean, they are already named!

They are gadgets, with no feelings and any sense of attachment. There's really no point in giving them a name and make it more personal

My personal laptop = "la novia" (girlfriend), my work's laptop "la otra" (the other woman).
My t68 doesn't have a name yet, the wife??? any suggestions?

my first ever computer (compaq prolinea 486dx) is called lucy. then my second compaq proliant, i called her petra. my current desktop (acer) is called "sukebe" (a japanese word) and my compaq laptop is called kawaii, also a japanese word. i named my t68 as myPhone and my iPaq as pindutan.
