This is EXCELLENT!

I have just had my Orange (yuk!) P910i flashed with generic FW, and restored my backup, and the bloody Homescreen reappeared. So, I deleted all the files relating to the Homescreen, and was left with a blank icon at the top left of my application shortcuts, where Homescreen had been.

Getting back on topic, I just downloaded this Desktop, and it's replaced that icon, giving me a useful shortcut there again! Yahoo!

What a stroke of luck...

u can add any icon you want along the top ..go to control panel /device /application shortcuts ...then select which you want ..
sorry if you already new this !!

I know how to edit the shortcuts, it's just that on the branded version of the phone, there's a locked icon, that can't be edited - although I did manage to remove it, but was left with a blank space.....until this new app!

Also, don't generally read too much into post counts - there are plenty of people here who have posted alot more than me and still spout garbage on a regular basis!
