My non branded software is R3B032 prgCXC 125947_CHINA_T, is this any different to the european software (th ephone was purchased from a uk company)

Will this cause me trouble if i do an online update when the service is available?

ok guys. I think im just going to persevere with the phone at the moment and the memory stick thing and hope that a future firmware update sorts it out.

Cheers

I had an S700i one month ago; it works fine without any problems except:
1- it is receiving corrupted messages all the time.
2- it's not the phone problem but yesterday I received the same message 10 times.
3- it's slow, really slow. Oh and it's noisy when it vibrate because when the phone is closed the two sides not tightly touching each other.

I would not say that my S700 is slow. The two halves of my phone also close together quite tightly. It sounds as if yours is not screwed together properly. I would get it looked at.

The problems with receiving text messages again...and again...AND AGAIN is getting quite annoying. And the corrupt ones too!!! Must waste the battery life a bit too.

I emailed O2 about it and they said there is a problem with the s700i and the O2 network that the engineers are working to fix. (belive that when I see it!!!!)

I seem to have found another fault with the phone as well. SOMETIMES when I'm logging in to check my emails (on the phone), the screen goes blank, the phone vibrates for about 1/4 sec, and it reboots. Then it's ok again. Very strange...anyone else experienced this?????

It is 100% network fault. How do you get the messages if they have not send them? Its been reported in news papers too. This message was posted from a K500

Hey Guys,

My S700i was supplied by Vodaphone but i had it unlocked and use an Orange contract sim in it.My Orange PAYG sim freezes the phone up and i have to remove the battery to get it working again. My wife's Orange PAYG sim works fine in it though.Even more strange is my PAYG sim (which won't work in my S700i ) works fine in her K700i???

Other than that i've had no other problems at all (touch wood).

I have the same problems on my S700.
The thing about the txt can't be network fault. For me it looks like a phone fault.

My phone also boots when someone's calling. I've also experienced problem with my handfree. The phone refuse to make the call when I'm using it.
