basically kind of,yes. i believe your phone is not very easy to unlock or upgrade or decustomize. The R6D005 firmware has a new boot feature to prevent unauthorized unlocking - i think thats the only difference from older firmwares.

yes that is correct. the phone can be unlocked but not as easy as older versions. By the way it is always good to make a note of your imei incase your phone is stolen.

i believe that to get your phone blacklisted if it has been stolen, you would need to report it to the police. in the uk you will get an crime number and that is good enough to get the phone blacklisted.

Is there anywhere these firmwares can be downloaded? I don't mind paying. I have the totalserver software and T68 cable but it doesn't have downloadable software for the T630
I have unlocked my phone (T-Mobile branded) but would like to get the default SE software installed on it instead - can anyone email me the latest firmware and language file or tell me where they can be downloaded or bought?
