usually those web-sms services provide you with 5-10 free sms per month. free stuff is passé, nowadays you need to pay.

if you have your own server, you can set up your own web-sms service, using a relay station in switzerland, the czech republic or russia. don't know how, that's what i found out last time i wanted to set one of those things up.

Yeah well, there used to be those good ones where you just stuck your phone number in, your friends, then wrote a full length (160 characters) sms, then clicked send and they would be able to reply to your phone... So simple, brilliant. But not any more. Sorry, only sms.ac o2.co.uk and cardboard fish sms. I dunno the URL, just use google.

there is a program called smartsms. It can send sms through your computer. Do a search in google and you'll find it.
