Tried that too. Disconnected & re-connected; & then checked again: same IP.

I consider myself a student here, so dont get tired of sharing what you know.

If the IP changes only after a break in connection, then our Symbian devices running GPRS are no more secure than an ordinary PC internet connection, right?

OK, guys I haven't got many tools here in UK to test all this feature. Next week I'm going back to my home, to my own computer, to my own applications, to my own devices.

I'll make a detailed search about this stuff and I'll tell you how secure it is.

ehh, i dont know if the IP address changes when you reconnect, when you get data or every 2 seconds, but if i can do things like using MSN Messenger from my p800 or connecting to the IRC (even when roaming) then im sure that most coders out there could be able to make two apps that talk to each other (server-client).
dont you guys think the same?
i mean, i dont know if it would be a direct connection, i dont know if the phone would be the server or the client, but i really believe that trojans are a possible thing.
correct me if im wrong
