What if you've got a lot to say, and no credit for 2 messages? Im not a fan of sms abbreviations, i always try to use the full word, but sometimes its necessary.

Sometimes necessary and useful. But if people havenīt learned the normal use of language yet (spelling) and they continue to use this even when not necessary - well, itīs going to be a pretty mess - and annoying.

Agreed. It makes you look lazy, the only exception would be for peope visiting from their mobiles.

i always type the full words when i send a sms, but thats only when i'm using the 6820 otherwise i can't even be bothered to sms just call em up.

Perhaps meths might agree that people usually drone on far too much, often making more than one text unnecessary.
