My K500i came and still is , with firmware version 1...works absolutely fantastic, i won't even try upgrade firmware just to fix or improve anything....you know....

The K700 is probably the best you can get in the whole non-pda range. Hard to get more value for money. If you want more features you should move over to pda-phones/symbian. The S700 is wonderful but too pricy/bulky to beat the K700 in useless comparisons like this.
