Does flashing the P900 firmware cause any probs/ have disadvantages/ risks?
Thanks
Some people here say that P900 is getting a bit slower with 910 firmvare. I think RAM is to small on my P900 so i don't think i'm gonna do it, i have enough problems with "not enough memory" on some websights with opera.
If you don't visit such websights and don't have problems with not enough RAM you can change firmvare on your P900.
Strange, you have more memory with memory stick pro.... Is that mean - firmware and programs uses memory in the phone and dont use memory in card ?
I'm talking about RAM, that has nothing to do with the memorycard or internal memory wich is for storing programs and files.
RAM is the memory that handles programs that are running, P910 have tvice as much RAM as P900 (Or is it even more?)
I think that thats the biggest advantage with P910...

No, that is the internal memory, but it is 32 ram which is way cool.

Using TaskMan, I start my P900 up and quit Messages, which launches by default at startup, it shows around 7 MB's available RAM.
As for the P900 vs. P910, anyone can tell you about the 262,000 colour screen, the Querty keyboard, or the "over 128 MB" Duo-Pro support.
Some may even mention the increased internal storage memory, from 16 (9-10 available) to 64 (??? available). What boggles my mind is how very few people seem to know about the REAL improvement: TWICE as much RAM!
A most significant improvement, RAM has increased dramatically from 16MB (7-8 available at startup), to a healthy 32MB (21 ?? available)
Anyone who uses Opera or the default browser would be happy.
As for the C-drive (internal storage) my P900 has 16MB's but I can only free 9-10MB's , so l assume the increase to 64MB's is welcome, if only for things received via BT, as you still can't set the Memory card as default for BT received items.
Sadly, there's no EDGE support yet! And the P910, just like the P900 before it, is quite poor at multi-tasking; at least with the built-in main apps.

What about other aplications ? Is there an memory problem too ? I mean on P900, i think in P910 that problem not exist.

Excactly!
People just talk about the screen, duo pro, more internal memory and that silly little keyboard when the big thing is more RAM! Not enough RAM is the biggest problem with my P900, and yes i do use Sman and do not have aplications in the background when i use Opera.
