It seems to be not completly real but a fiction ...
"VR Sagaris to feature on TV
Friday 3rd December
Documentary shows villains trying to nick it.
TVR's new race-bred model the Sagaris is to feature in a TV documentary. Using ex-villains and ex-police officers, the programme, called The Heist, gets the villains to pretend to attempt to steal the car -- though what the outcome is, TVR spokesman Ben Samuelson was unable to say. "All will be revealed when you see the programme", he said.
He didn't comment on the suggestion that it was a test to see how good TVR car security is.
The programme is on at 9pm, C4, Tuesday 14 December 2004.

I saw it too. I thought it was a great programme, though I must admit, I didn't notice the P800...
It was on the desk full of equipment when they show the tracking device.

I watched it and spotted the p800 on the desk at the start. Just had to be the geeky uber hacker who owned it didn't it. The program was rubbish, the security guy woulda been with it all the way realistically. And surely there woulda been people in the hangar waiting for it too.

I know this is off topic but TVR is now owned by a Russian Billionaire..
Blackpool-based sports car company TVR has been sold to a 24-year-old Russian investor, it has been announced.
Former banker Nikolay Smolensky has said he wants to expand the firm, which currently employs 400 people at its site in Bispham, Lancashire.
TVR specialises in high-performance cars and is one of the few privately-owned car companies in the UK.
Mr Smolensky has already been to the TVR headquarters, where he told staff he planned to be a hands-on owner.
Mr Smolensky was the chairman of the Russian bank OVK until last year, when he sold his shareholding.
Much of his money is reported to have come from the businesses created by his father
Who is Nikolay Smolensky?
A statement from TVR confirms it has been sold by owner, Yorkshireman Peter Wheeler, who will remain on board as a senior consultant.
In a brief statement, the company says it plans to continue trading, invest heavily in new technology and production methods, and enhance the TVR brand to become a global player.
It also says there will be no large scale restructuring.
Mr Smolensky's father is the wealthy Russian businessman Alexander Smolensky."
