Also does it with some Logos, some it saves as a gif some as a bmp!

you can also work around this MSIE-bug, and download it directly via wap, just enter the url of the image

try it again and when you've saved it, open the file you've just saved to verify its savign the right image even thoughte format may be wrong.

what version of IE are you running?

you may need to download an update or fix.

It is definatly saving the right picture as i can view it.

In order to save the screensavers as .gif files you have to download another browser like Netscape because IE only allow you to save as .bmp

Sorry, that info is wrong. Try deleting all your temporary internet files under Internet Options, then try again. IE most certainly can save any type of picture.

Right, IE, and especially IE5 and above, can handle just about any type of file.
