mine is now 2 months old, screen is scratched and i chopped off the connector cover today. it couldnt fit any more

Initial charge = 4 hrs., as stated in the manual.
Succeeding charges - I charge mine for a few minutes over 2 hrs.
The rubber cover on the bottom is very good protection against dust and liquids. But some have complained that it gets ruined easily. My solution - Don't pry it open with your fingernails, else it'll get cracked. I always carry a stainless steel paper clip (not the plastic-coated type which is too thick), smallest size. It fits perfectly into the slit in the rubber cover, which you then lift gently.

Dude pix i think you are confused that was Omnislash and not m8s ....neways i use nero burning rom so i use nero mp4 codec to make mp4 files initially you need to charge K700i for 5 to 6 hours atleast i did that then everyday 2 hours is more than enough....:-)

thnx for all the warnings and tips for the battery, the mp4 converting and for solving my doubts.. and hey TheRealSpawn i will do what u said about the battery charging....you're right, i dont wanna be one of those sayin they have poor battery life, and once again thnx for the help TO ALL of you thnak you!
