Well, anyway.. all this price-speculation.

says at the moment that the introduction price for T300 here in Sweden will be around 350 dollars. And that's a reasonable price.
T300 is a low-budget version of T68, so it won't cost 600 dollars. That's for sure. The production-cost of T300 will not be as high as T68's, since T68 was the first color-screen phone and a lot of money was invested to perfect the manufacturing. With T300, all the equipment and expertise is already there!

So your saying the phone will go on sale at $350 as long as you are tied to a tariff, where as the phone would cost without a tariff around $400 - $500?

So no one would pay £300-350 = $450-540 to get hold of one now?

Oh no, 350 dollars without a contract

SonyEricsson calls this the first color-screen phone for the common folks, that is non high-end product, and 350 dollars is the price-range for that kind of mobiles

I believe many nokia 33XX users would go for it........since 33xx is the ugliest phone around........T300 is better than that plus colour screen, downloadable games etc..............

If you guys can understand Swedish, read this article:
http://www.mobil.se/nyheter/visa.asp?id=5264&sid=1
Here is the important part of the article:
"Det än så länge obekräftade priset väntas bli ungefär 2 500 kronor utan abonnemang när telefonen släpps under årets fjärde kvartal, alltså någon gång mellan oktober och december."
Translation:
"The as yet to be confirmed price will be around 2500 Swedish crowns [note: that's about 250 dollars] without a contract when this phone is released in the forth quarter of this year somewhere around October to December
The magazine Mobil is a pan-scandinavian magazine about mobile-phones that is well respected and they usually publicize accurate information!
