It is not even possible for 3rd party program to fix that, it is just SE. Sad but true.

i just cant beleive a top phone like a p900 or p910i doesnt have a simple function like that! if nokias have it why cant sony ericssons!

Because if they put every function everybody wants, we couldn't afford the phone. That's where 3rd party comes in, we only buy what we need. If this in fact was a function on the phone, not everyone would think it's handy.

Yeah but they should have included the api for the developers to be able to work on that

Just a point of clarification regarding recording of conversations.

It is a function that SE can DEFINATELY implement on the P910i and there are NO legal reasons why they can't (well at least no problems with the UK market).

Why do I say this?

Because just last week I purchased a SE Z600 as a present and this phone has the phone conversation record facility. Not only that, you can record both sides of the conversation and if my memory is correct there seems to be no limit (except available memory space) as to how long the recording will be. And finally, there is no beep warning to say that the conversation is being recorded.

So I guess it is all down to which development team is working on a particular phone that determines the features a phone has.

I hope that puts an end to some of the speculation as to why we don't have the feature on our beloved SE Pxxx phones.
