@SE Rules

i dont have a D500, but i have used one, and no it isnt as good as an SE UI, the phone just screams class and quality. It feels solid and its features are pretty good. I dont really care about the Infra red as it has great bluetooth connectivity.

In my opinion, and i do love SE, the D500 is an overall better phone than the K700i.

@gbrooks
mate, can I ask you why you got rid of it, was it because of the phone itself?
A friend of mine has a T610, and keeps telling me to get a K700 because of its features, etc. I would get one except, the D500 would be a thorn in my side, its just such a cool phone, well looks anyways.... The mobile-review.com review was not only helpful but swayed me more...
Decisions decisions.

The D500 is a bloody good phone. The SE has better but lower volume ringtones. The Samsung camera beats the SE k700 one. It has no noise at dark conditions and even in day conditions shows true skin colour. the k700 has a pinkish tinge to skin in photos. This message was posted from a WAP device

I bought d500 for the wife i bluetoothed some mp3's and vids...From my 6230 they played brilliantly but reluctantly she swapped it for a e810 because the d500 was so difficult to text with because of the ridges that run down either side such a shame it's a stunnin piece of kit This message was posted from a Nokia

@SE Rules

i never actually owned it, i used it for a couple of days. it was my brother in laws and he wanted it unlocked. so while i was doing that for him i had a little play and really liked it.

a person who bought a new phone from another brand, doesn't notice the many cons at first, it takes some time.
the person is used to working with an SE phone, he's used to having the best and most inovated phone there is, buying another brand is more like taking a step back while you are blinded by the sunlight.

@bart. lol

man you are absolutely conditioned to SE or you are a very loyal customer. i respect you and my argument would be that you should look at the positive points of another phone. But i am increasingly coming around to the fact that compared to SE phones there are no positive points. i want to support the D500 but i just cant, it features just arent impressive enough to warrent a change in brand.

i am confused - maybe ive had too much to drink tonight lol
