Nokia's are beginer phones. Very user friendly interface, ofcourse due to it's minimal features.

My experiences with SE as of date have been exceptional.

One thing is for sure: SE is consistently good. You get the best value for your money with their phones. Motorola & Siemens also score high in my books. But Moto spoilt the books with the C33x series. Terrible batteries and tone volume. This message was posted from a P800

Must just be you mate.

Without a doubt sony ericsson are great, but dont mean others arent. All brands make mistakes and some are ahead of others. Look at sony now, they've released the k500, f500, them other 2 phones in the same range as t68i and ive heard things about k300 . In my opinion sony are making a mistake by bringing SOO MANY medium range phones, and should bring more top higher phones as other brands are, eg motorola e1000, that kills the k700i, everything the k700 should have had:
expandable mem card
mega pixel cam
strongly built, buttons stay together, no stickers peel off etc etc.
And they were both the same price when released.

Although sony eric are begining to lack abit, i can always choose them over motorola.

I've had very bad expirences with a few moto phones, the E1000 on Vodafone was the first phone I had on my Staff Contract. I managed to kill it the first night I had it, never turned on again. I exchanged it for a V800 Well happy I did now!

i like the look of motos, great build quality, reliability etc, the only thing that lets motos down is the firmware. its the worst ive ever used (apart from nec but dont get me started on those.)
three words to motorola: ERICSSON MOBILE PLATFORMS !!!!

Hmm... A lot of Motorola fans out there. Iiiiinteresting.

I suppose the biggest problem I had with the Nokias is that nearly every one I had would restart itself constantly. I had two 3590s that would restart randomly on the mobile web. (Turning off images helped significantly, but not totally.) I had a 3595 that would restart when you tried to change things in the phone book. I had a 61xx (not sure about the exact model) that wouldn't restart itself, but it had the tinniest speaker I've ever heard in my life, and it echoed like nothing else. And, for its price, it should have at least had a camera.

No, it's just you.
IMHO, Motorola is as good as SE. I think, Motorola offers more feature than SE does. The UI is not that crab like I usually thought. I also use two Motorola phones right now and they work pretty fine to me.

But anyhow, yes, Samsung sucks! (D500 is exceptional I think).

I heard somewhere that the new Motorola's are using SE's proprietary software (the UI found on the T610). I can't seem to confirm this.

@jplacson: IF that is true, I'd definitely pay more attention to Moto. My last couple of adventures with Moto were TERRIBLE. If Moto puts their acts together, their phones would easily beat those of any other manufacturers, SE inclusive. My opinion only please (here come the flames). This message was posted from a P800

That's my reason for buying SE. I would have to pay a lot more for a nokia (or anything else) with the features of my k500..
