I departed Voda a few months back and switched to O2 on a pay monthly. So far I have used GPRS internet access without any problems and in various counties and have never been charged a penny. A big improvement on Voda who consistently overcharged.

It is certainly more that 30 days, but probably less than 5MB. However, would GPRS roaming have been included? I have not been charged for that. I have used French and US networks.

@tempsonyfreak
Back then I never had to top up for like 5-6months! o2 would send me the top up reminder message after a month, but I would still have unlimited txts and wap for another 5-6months for some reason?!
Im not sure if anyone else had this sweet glitch with o2 but plz post if you did
The o2 glitch stopped working for me a few months ago....?

These days temp if you dont TOPUP after 30days they charge you for anything you use!
You have to top up £10 again to get ur free allowance back.

I have 12.5 hours of free wap!
But only after 6:00pm to 7:00am.

Still a good deal.

think these were the setting for free gprs on contract. i dont know if this works on 02 PAYG. someone verify?

. GPRS Settings:

Name O2 WAP GPRS
APN payandgo.o2.co.uk
Default URL http://payandgo.O2.co.uk
Port 9201
Security Off
IP Address 193.113.200.195
Linger time 120 seconds
Username payandgo

Try 8080 for the proxy setting = free surfing

2. MMS Settings:

Profile Name - O2 MMS
Server URL - http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
Gateway IP - 193.113.200.195
Bearer Type - select GPRS, Press Menu select Edit AccessPointName - payandgo.o2.co.uk
User ID - payandgo
User Password - Password
