You are RIGHT, I went back and read the post, it's all for P800. Anyway even if it's possible for P900, I wouldn't try it. One wrong move and your phone is paper weight.
There's two different files for startup and shutdown animations right? On P900 someone could try changing only the shutdown animation. If it doesn't work, phone crashes during shutdown but startup wil be ok... just guessing here.
