i must say pics taken with "extended" are extremely grainy and blurred. unless you need to capture a large, fairly barren frame, i'd suggest you not use it. moreover the phone takes a lot of time to actually capture and save it.

Its physically impossible for a t610/630 to take vga pics...also the quality is not of real vga pics and the phone takes a lot of time. I feel maybe the phone takes multiple pics...applies a bit of digital zoom and then merges them to present the final picture. Same is wat i feel of the k5/k7 takin mp pics...tho they are not like mp pics from say a 7610 but they are def better than a vga pic with 4x stretch...again the camera takes time in this case so i feel its multiple pics+digital zoom both.

Forget the extende format. Pix are bad in that mode. Stick with the default mode.
