the problem with castration is that the rapist urges dont come from the penis but from the brain so by removing the penis thats all you are doing. he is just a likely to rape again only this time he will use a replacement for the missing penis and that could be anything from a screwdriver to a baseball bat.
its been shown in studies in the past that castration has no affect on a rapists urges to rape

castration doesn't remove the penis, it removes the testicles and therefore the production of testosterone which does largely influence male libido etc
edit: btw, a few socities now use chemical castration on repeat rapists. this is a chemical call Depo-Provera (I think) which acts on the part of the brain that controls testosterone production in order to reduce its production

@massuer thats fair enough on the chemical that effects the brain that might have an effect, but is rape a sexual driven attack or is not then the libdo will have no effect on it

I think lashes are too 16th century. Now, jail term along with psychiatric counselling should be the norm for rapists. One can't fathom the torture the victim goes through.

@slattery69 as per Masseur chopping the nuts off removes the source of testosterone and will massively reduce sexual urge/drive - that's why it works when you get it done to your dog if it humps anything that moves.

@mince inside yes thats fine if the aim of the rapist is purely have sex with the victim, however i not sure if sex is the overridding desire of serial rapists is that there main aim when raping or is it there more to it than simlply forced sex
also without the desire for sex he may use other impliments as i mentioned early to carry out the act.i always feel its just better to lock people up and not let them out were they can cause damage to other people and not with ps2 and tvs

You cant be wrongly accused cause the Saudi Rules follow islamic rules, so there has to be a certain amount of witnesses, 1 sometimes is not sufficient, adultary in some cases is 4
