Is there any application to allow control of my PC from my P9 via Bluetooth.
I can only find 'Remote Control' and 'VNC Viewer' both of which connect via t'internet & that's no use to me as my PC is not on the internet

Remote Control get it from http://my-symbian.com/uiq/app[....]plications.php?fldAuto=8&faq=6

I have been using it for a while now with great success

there Is also Remote Control 2 available but I havenīt tested it

I have used Remote Control 1 throught my Linksys bluetooth adapter http://www.linksys.com/produc[....]t.asp?grid=33&scid=38&prid=581

I've now set this up (the PuppetMaster demo version that is) and had a quick play. It seems to be pretty good going by my first impressions and the use with powerpoint is excellent.
There also appears to be scope for adding new functionality via VbScript, PuppetScript (whatever this is), etc. which means that this is potentially a very powerful app.

I'm always slightly sceptical about java apps though and I'd be much happier if there were a Symbian UIQ version for the P series... maybe this will come in due course.

Here's a hint, if you use Mrouter.exe (included in SE's PC Suite):

You can use vnc/remote control with bluetooth, if you in P-series set the 'host' (of the vnc/remote control client) as 'wsockhost.mrouter'. In vnc (PC host) you must also enable 'loopback connections', if I remember it right!

I didn't realise RemotControl used Bluetooth.
Anyway, I've installed the Server on my PC & the Client on my phone but I can't make a connection. It just instantly says connection failed!

I can't find the IP address.
The prompt command IPCONFIG should display it but it simply doesn't!
